Question: When should I arrive for my appointment?
Answer: Please arrive 20 minutes before your first appointment as there is paper work to be done. After your first appointment please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
Question: How old is the pricing for child?
Answer: Children up to and including 17 years old will be given the child pricing.
Question: How old do you have to be in the salt cave?
Answer: Children 13+ are allowed in the cave as long as they can adhere to the quiet zone policy.
Question: Can I wear perfume?
Answer: No, please refrain from wearing perfume or scented cosmetics as some people have adverse reactions to scents.
Question: Can I talk in the salt cave?
Answer: No. This is a quiet zone for people to meditate or just reflect. Please no talking in the cave when strangers are present. There is beautiful spa music and a water fountain in the cave for you to enjoy and listen to. If you rent the cave for a private event, you may talk all you want!
Question: Can I go in and out of the salt room?
Answer: No we ask that you stay in for your entire session so as to not disturb anyone else and not to have the salt escape from the air in the room.
Question: What do I do in the salt cave or booth?
Answer: You just sit, breathe, relax and let the natural healing power of salt take care of you.
Question: What should I wear in the salt cave?
Answer: Only socks or shoes with our reusable washable booties. Light coloured comfortable clothing is best. Darker clothing shows some salt residue.
Question: What should I wear in the salt booth?
Answer: Socks or shoes with our reusable washable booties. The salt booth is in a private room therefore if you have a skin condition it's best to have as much of your skin exposed. You are welcome to disrobe to get as much salt to your skin as possible.
Question: Can I bring food or drinks in the salt cave?
Answer: No
Question: Can I bring my cell phone or electronics in to the cave or booth?
Answer: No. Salt is corrosive to these items and the cave is meant to relax and unwind.
Question: Can I wear my jewelry in the cave or booth?
Answer: It is not recommended as salt can be corrosive to some jewelry.
Question: Are there any side affects of dry salt therapy?
Answer: No. There are no potentially harmful side effects of dry salt therapy . The treatment is completely natural. A slight cough or runny nose is possible, but this is simply the salt working to remove mucus and toxins from the lungs and airways.
Question: What if I have to cancel my appointment or don't show up?
Answer: Cancellations must be done 24hr in advance of your service. Failure to do so will result in a 100% fee of that service. A credit card will be required to make reservations, or you may stop in and pay cash for 100% of your service. Late arrivals will not be accommodated as we will run into the next scheduled session. We will however, try our best to arrange for you to get into the next available spot.
Question: What if I book an appointment incorrectly?
Answer: Purity Salt Cave & Healing Spa is not responsible for any bookings made incorrectly by the client. If you’re unsure please contact the spa.
Question: What is your refund policy on products?
Answer: We are sorry for the inconvenience but we are not doing refunds of any kind.
